Zarzis

Olive groves and a quiet southern coast.

Zarzis is the calmer neighbour of Djerba: a coastal town set among vast olive groves, with long beaches and a slower pace. The town centre has a lively market, and the coast stretches away in both directions.

It's a good base for exploring the south-east, from Djerba to the ksour of Tataouine.
