Mountain air and cork oak forests.

Ain Draham surprises almost everyone. Set in the forested Kroumirie mountains, it has red-roofed houses, cool evenings and, in some winters, snow. It's where Tunisians go to swap the sea for the forest.

The surrounding cork oak woods are ideal for walking and picnics, and the town is a short drive from Tabarka, which makes it easy to pair mountains and coast in a single trip.

Highlights

  • Forest walks in the Kroumirie hills

  • Winter atmosphere

  • Easy pairing with Tabarka

Best for: Nature, hiking, cool weather
