Kelibia

A fortress, a fishing port and some of the clearest water in the country.

Kelibia moves at the pace of its fishing port. Above it, a massive fortress commands the headland; its walls have been rebuilt by successive powers over the centuries, and the view from the top takes in the whole coast.

The beaches nearby, Mansoura among them, are known for remarkably clear, shallow water. Come for grilled fish by the harbour and a swim that makes you forget the time.
