Testour

An Andalusian town on the banks of the Medjerda.
Testour was built in the 17th century by Andalusian Moriscos who settled in Tunisia after their expulsion from Spain, and it still carries that heritage in its tiled roofs, its street plan and its music.
The Great Mosque's minaret holds its most famous curiosity: a clock whose hands turn anticlockwise. The town is also known for its festival of malouf, the Andalusian musical tradition that came with its founders.
